The color blue.

In looking at budgies since having had Cheeps, I have seen only a few that have been this color blue. Such a soft pretty shade of blue. (oh, by the way, my budgies name was "Cheeps" named by my nieces and nephews).

Snack Time!

Light as a feather, tiny little feet wrapped around my finger, eating seeds from my hand, trying to keep a steady hand as he ate, having a break from cleaning his cage and giving him a little snack. A tickling sensation as each seed is taken! Having fun just watching! After having enough to eat, it was onto something else. Like looking in the mirror or enjoying a bath only to give me a shower as he shook all the water off himself after his bath!

Is it worth it?

Never had I thought that having a little bird around to take care of could be a relaxing time. So much fun! And funny at times. Yes, it takes time to care for pet of any kind. Is it worth it? That is a question only each individual can answer.

My Birds

So small and yet they are so very individual. So fun to have around. The excitment they show when a real bond is formed with a person. Something so small can give so much pleasure!
